Sarla tells Preeta not to be concerned and advises her to check-in at the hospital; if she sees him, it is not Sundeep, but if he is not there, she was mistaken. Preeta wonders how she can go on like this. When Shrishti and Preeta arrive at the hospital, Preeta says they’ll first ask the receptionist if Sundeep is still in the hospital or if he’s been discharged; the nurse explains that he’s still in the hospital because he’s been injured so much that no one can meet him; Shrishti says that’s not the case because Preeta is the physiotherapist who’s treating Sundeep; Preeta enters the room and is astonished to realise that Sundeep is not present; she screams that this implies her suspicion that Sundeep is well was correct; Preeta intends to phone Shrishti and informs her that Sundeep is not in his bed.
Preeta walks out of the room, noticing Sudeepa walking with Sundeep, who is still in the wheelchair; she questions why he is lying because she saw him walking casually on his feet; Sundeep questions what she is saying since he is unable to walk properly due to Rishab yet she is blaming him for lying; Preeta walks away exclaiming he is lying and will have to pay for it; Sundeep questions what she is saying since he is unable to walk properly due Sudeepa exhales a sigh of relief, explaining that they are safe because she spotted them both at the hospital entrance and advised them to change their clothes. She also urges Sundeep to get the money from Prithvi as soon as possible because Preeta is now working to protect her family.
Preeta is walking when Shrishti runs up to her, exclaiming that they have found proof against Sundeep. Preeta explains that they had gotten the proof but Sundeep showed up at the last minute with his girlfriend, Shrishti asks if this means she was mistaken, Preeta explains that he is very clever, and Shrishti wonders what they will do now. Karina inquires as to where they are both coming from, given that she is Pihu’s mother, and even then, she sends her back with Sameer, demonstrating her carelessness. Preeta explains that she went to the hospital because she thought she spotted Sundeep in the market but chose to check to see if her suspicions were correct. When Karina asks what happened, Preeta responds that she noticed Sundeep was already in the hospital.
Karina, enraged, declares that she is only acting and making excuses when, in reality, she went out to have fun with her sister and is unconcerned about their embarrassment. Dadi also wonders what Preeta is thinking. Shrishti, who is unable to restrain herself, wonders why Bani is still alive. Dadi is speaking to Preeta in this manner because, although she is a family member who cares about what is going on in the family, they are all blaming her. Preeta attempts to stop her, but Shrishti says she’ll have to speak out when Preeta herself is quiet, and Karina says they’re incredibly excellent at pretending as though one of them cares while the other is misbehaving. Preeta responds to Karina by clarifying that she never thinks negatively of anyone and just has respect and love for the family members; Dadi, enraged, declares that she can see Preeta’s love and respect for them. Shrishti starts arguing with Dadi again, who becomes enraged and says she can see Sarla’s teaching as they are both very selfish, even though they have raised Preeta’s standard a lot. Karina asks what she thinks of them all and then exclaims she will talk with Karan when he returns because he also loves and cares for them all, and she will certainly talk with him. Karina invites Dadi to accompany her; Dadi advises Preeta not to wake Pihu, who is sleeping in Rakhi’s room; she doesn’t care for her but pretends.
