Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, is set for a high-voltage drama as Noina (Barkha Bisht) becomes determined to bring Mihir (Amar Upadhyay) back into her life after she sees Mihir reuniting with Tulsi (Smriti Irani). The viewers have seen an engaging drama as Mihir dedicates his award to Tulsi, sharing that she is the reason he could lift the award today. Seeing Tulsi and Mihir together, Noina is left shattered and breaks down in tears.

Today’s episode, 73, airing on 9 October, begins with Noina waking up frustrated the next morning. Noina cannot digest the fact that Mihir has no feelings for her, and so he didn’t remember her birthday. Her sister Suchu tries to calm her, telling her that Mihir might have been busy with Karva Chauth things.

As Noina learns about Karva Chauth, she insists that if she wants to make her birthday special, she should invite Mihir to her birthday party. On the other hand, Tulsi keeps fast for Mihir, and so does Mihir. However, Tulsi tells him that he has been keeping the fast for so many years and cannot rest, but Mihir chooses to keep the Karva Chauth fast and vows that he will keep it until the sun and moon are in the world.

Suchu meets Mihir, convincing him to join them for Noina’s birthday celebration, and he instantly agrees. Later that night, Mihir gets ready to attend Noina’s birthday party, and Shobha tries to stop him, as Tulsi has kept a fast for him. However, Mihir leaves without listening to Shobha, keeping his relationship with Tulsi in stake.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is a classic TV serial that first aired in 2000, and after 25 years, it marked its return on 29 July 2025, continuing the story. However, the comeback will be a limited-episode show. The producer, Ekta, shared that the show returns not as another show, but to revive nostalgia. The show has Smriti Irani, Aman Upadhyay, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Rohit Suchanti, Riya Sharma, Aman Gandhi, and others in key roles.
