The StarPlus show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, has viewers captivated by an engaging drama revolving around Angad’s (Rohit Purohit) arrest. Tulsi (Smriti Irani) is shattered as Vrinda refuses to help her save Angad, as her grandmother orders. Pari faces heartbreak as her boyfriend ditches her after Angad’s arrest. Later, Angad’s friend comes in and takes all the blame on himself, saving Angad.

Today’s episode begins with Angad getting released from jail, bringing happiness to the Virani house. The next day, Angad comes to meet his friend and expresses his gratitude. Angad also gets emotional and promises him that he will save him soon, which Tulsi overhears and decides to discover the truth.
On the other hand, Vrinda finds the package of money that she gets for saving Angad. Vrinda’s grandmother slaps her for disobeying her order to stay away from Angad Virani’s matter. On the other hand, Tulsi meets Vrinda and urges her to stand for the truth because her son is safe now, but someone innocent is locked in jail. She highlights that if Vrinda refuses to stand for the truth, the innocent will bear the punishment. Vrinda agrees to help and starts dictating about the person she saw in the CCTV footage to the sketch maker.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is a classic TV serial that first aired in 2000, and after 25 years, it marked its return on 29 July 2025, continuing the story. However, the comeback will be a limited-episode show. The producer Ekta shared that the show returns just to revive the nostalgia and not as another show. The show has Smriti Irani, Aman Upadhyay, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Rohit Suchanti, Riya Sharma, Aman Gandhi, and others in key roles.
