The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Gehna and Kanak returning home. Anant asks Gehna why she took so long to return home. Kanak says Gehna wanted to buy a new saree, so they when to check if the shop is open. Kanak tells Gehna that they will go after breakfast to buy a new saree. Kanak takes Gehna inside and asks her not to tell Anant about it. Gehna thinks the lady she crashed into must have not got hurt. Gehna thinks she will get fresh and inform Anant about it once everything gets normal.
Baa asks Gehna to serve breakfast. Chetan asks Gehna if he has seen Hema. Gehna says no. The inspector comes there. He says if it’s Hema’s home. Baa says yes. The inspector informs them that Hema met with an accident and is in hospital. Everyone worries. The police say it is a hit-and-run case, they will soon catch the person who hit Hema with their car.
Everyone rushes to the hospital. Chetan cries looking at Hema. Baa asks the doctor if Hema is fine. The doctor says Hema got some internal injury and he cannot say anything until Hema gains consciousness. The doctor says if Hema doesn’t get conscious by night, she can go into a coma. Everyone worries. Paresh calls Anant and informs him. Anant rushes to the hospital in his car.
Gehna takes Kanak away and informs her that she hit Hema with her car. Kanak gets shocked. She warns Gehna and says if something happens to Hema, then she will punish Gehna. Gehna worries.
Gehna prays to God to cure Hema. Anant asks Gehna what happened. Gehna is about to confess but Pankaj comes there and tells Anant that the police found the car in the hospital’s parking. Gehna goes to the police and confesses that she hit Hema with the car. Anant hears that and recollects Gehna lying to him about the morning walk. Anant comes and takes the blame on him.
Anant takes Gehna away and tells her that she broke his trust, he will never forgive her, but will not let her go to jail. Anant takes the blame on himself. The police arrest Anant. Gehna apologizes to Chetan and says she was the one who hit Hema and Anant took the blame on him.
