In today’s episode we can see that Surya had blind faith in Sikandar, Kamya recalls. Gehna says okay, but she has reservations about Sikandar, who is obstructing Surya’s release on bond. They want her to return to Mumbai till Surya receives justice, and they promise to send money to cover her expenses. Surya believes there is a mastermind behind all of this since goons were continually attacking Kamya and Anant’s jacket. Surya claims that he is incapable of thinking in that manner. Kamya dresses up in lawyer’s garb, recalling Anant’s dream for her to become a lawyer, and believes Baa was correct in predicting that attorney Gehna will fight Anant’s case. Baa claims Gehna is defending Anant’s lawsuit in Mumbai and is in desperate need of funds. Instead, Kanak claims, Gehna is attempting to save her lover Kabir. Bapuji urges them to be careful with their words and assigns Pankaj and Chetan to look after their wives.
Gehna as a lawyer Gehna Desai arrives at the police station and begins an investigation into an 8-year-old hit-and-run incident. According to the constable, no case was ever filed. Why did Sikandar make Surya into Kabir, Gehna wonders, since there was no hit-and-run case at all? Why was his brother influencing him to change his name if there was no hit-and-run case 8 years ago, she claims. She claims she will obtain proof and imprison Sikandar. Surya asserts that she cannot do so until he is alive. Sikandar is informed by Arjun that Surya has hired a lawyer. Gehna walks in and introduces herself. Sikandar claims she won’t be able to unless Surya accepts her as his counsel. Gehna claims he has already done so and displays documentation. She claims that no case was filed on November 14th, 2008, which is eight years ago.
