The episode of Sasural Simar Ka 2 starts with Avinash sitting in shock. He blames Indu for not controlling Choti Simar. Indu says that Simar was just singing. Reema tells Choti Simar that everything happened because of her. Choti Simar tries to explain but Reema runs into her room crying, Roma and Gagan go behind her. Choti Simar prays that the marriage doesn’t get canceled. Badi Maa comes home and tells everyone that the marriage called off. Chitra tells her to not take decisions in anger as it will ruin the Oswal family’s reputation. Shobha says that Aarav’s life will be ruined. Simar tells Baa to listen once. Baa says that she will not let Aarav marry the wrong girl for the family’s reputation.
Avinash along With Indu, Reema, Roma and Gagan come to apologise to Badi Maa. Indu tells her that Choti Simar just sings as a hobby. Reema tells Badi Maa that she doesn’t consider singing as art, Aarav comes. Avinash removes his turban and places it before Badi Maa saying that his family’s reputation and the life of his three daughters are in her hand. Avinash places the turban near Badi Maa’s feet. Chitra and Shobha tell them that Badi Maa won’t change her decision. Badi Maa tells him that she has a condition for marriage. She doesn’t want Choti Simar near her or the Oswal family. If they see her at the wedding the Barat will return.
Simar tells Badi Maa to not punish Choti Simar. Baa says this is the condition if they want to agree they can agree or marriage will be canceled. Avinash agrees for Reema’s happiness. Choti Simar is praying to God and singing bhajan. The doorbell rings she goes to open the door. Avinash along with others return. Choti Simar asks what happened and what did Badi Maa say. Avinash says that whatever happened today should not have happened.
Choti Simar tells them that she will request Badi Maa to not cancel the wedding and apologise to her. She tells them that Badi Maa will give her blessings for the wedding. Avinash says that Badi Maa has agreed to not cancel the wedding but on one condition that Choti Simar should not attend it. He tells her that for the sake of her parents and Reema she should not come to the wedding. Reema tells Choti Simar if she ever considered her as a sister she should not leave her room on the wedding day.
