This episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma starts with Tappu looking for someone to talk to. When he realizes that his father is sleeping he looks for Dadaji instead. When he finds Dadaji, Tappu sees that he had a pagdi on. When questioned they get into a conversation about the old times and their ways. Dadaji is cleaning out an old box with some of his old things when Tappu joins him. He shows Tappu all the different things that he has kept with him over the years. He takes a few pictures of Dadaji in the pagdi. He soon pulls Dadaji away to take better pictures of him.
Dadaji sees Jethalal sleep and starts complaining about him. Dadaji decides to wake Jethalal up. Tappu convinces him that instead of yelling at him to wake him up they should play a prank on him instead. Two of them hide and start mewing and barking. Jethalal thinks there are many cats and dogs in the house and starts getting worried when Dadaji comes out of hiding while laughing. Jethalal realizes what happened.
He isn’t happy about them waking him up because he was having a delicious dream. He was at the dining table and the table was filled with jalebi and fafdas. They woke him as soon as he went to eat it. They decide to eat it but Dadaji just yells at him about his weight. But he agrees when Tappu wants to eat it too. Jethalal gets ready to leave.
Bhide sees him doing his pooja and gets worried if the water is dropping on his scooter. Sodhi joins the conversation halfway through. Jethalal asks if they want jalebi too. But they refuse. Jethalal tells them he’s getting extra and if they feel like having it, they can always come to eat later. He asks Bhide for his keys but
Bhide refuses unless it’s an emergency. In the next episode, Jethalal finally leaves to get the jalebi and fafdas.
