The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with everyone asking Popatlal to share his problem. Popatlal starts crying. Everyone tries to explain to him that if he shares his problem, he will feel relaxed. Then Bapuji asks Popatlal to share his problem. Popatlal says that he lost his job.
Taarak Mehta tries to explain to him that in this lockdown, many people have lost their job. But still, there are many chances to get a job. Popatlal says that Toofan Express shut and he will not get the job.
Jethalal tells Popatlal that he won an award, so definitely he will get a job and better than Toofan Express.
Everyone motivates Popatlal and asks him to smile. Popatlal feels okay, and he smiles.
All the members pray to god to protect them. After prayer Iyer, Jethalal, Taarak Mehta, Sodhi and Dr Hati leave for their work.
Bapuji comes in the living room and calls out Jethalal, and he realises that Jethalal is not at home and will be at his shop. Tapu enters and asks Bapuji what he was thinking. Bapuji says that he is missing Jethalal, as he had the habit of seeing him in front of his eyes all this month.
Tapu is worried that people have started going to work and soon their college will open and they will also go to college.
Later, all the ladies are seen sitting together and discussing how they are missing their respective husband.
Komal says that she is very excited as Diwali is near. Ladies discuss how they get excited during Diwali.

The episode ends with Team Taarak Mehta wishing everyone Happy Diwali.
