The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Popatlal feeding birds on the terrace. Popatlal says he feels good when he talks to birds in the morning.
Popatlal returns home and starts making tea. Popatlal says for years he is making tea, now he wants a life partner to come and help him in all his work.
Popatlal realises that there is no sugar in the house. Popatlal goes to Abdul’s shop to take sugar. He takes sugar and leaves.
Popatlal receives a message from his friends. The message says Government has decided to pay 50% expense to those who get married 2nd time. Popatlal gets angry and says he will take strict action against it. Bapuji asks Popatlal what happened. Popatlal tells Bapuji everything about the message. Bapuji takes Popatlal home.
Jethalal asks Popatlal what happened. Popatlal tells Jethalal everything and says he will take strict action against Government.
Jethalal says Government cannot take such decisions. Bapuji asks who sent Popatlal the message. Popatlal says his friend send him that message.
Bapuji reads the message and also reads April Fool written in the end. Bapuji laughs and tells that Popatlal’s friend fooled him.
Later, Popatlal meets Tapu-Sena in the society compound. Popatlal invites them to have breakfast on Sunday. Tapu says on Sunday all family members are at home and one day they get to spend with full family.
Popatlal says they are lucky that they have their full family. Popatlal says he also enjoys as they do, but alone. Sonu says soon Popatlal’s wife will join him.
Tapu-Sena then thinks that it’s been a long time that they did not spend time with Popatlal. Tapu says night after dinner than can go to Popatlal’s house and have ice cream together.
At night, Goli gets the ice cream and goes to Popatlal’s house with Tapu-Sena.
