The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Popatlal returning home from the terrace.

Harish (the delivery boy) calls Popatlal and says he has arrived at their society compound. Popatlal meets Harish and takes his parcel. Popatlal asks Harish to open the parcel, as he needs to check. Popatlal checks the parcel and thanks Harish.

Harish asks Popatlal to return him the mango box, which he delivered by mistake. Popatlal notices that the mango box which he kept in the society compound is missing. Popatlal tells Harish that he is in hurry and will return the box later. Harish says he will allow Popatlal to take his parcel only if he returns the other parcel.

Harish apologises to Popatlal and says he will not give the parcel until he gets the wrong parcel which he delivered.
Popatlal thinks where the mango box can be. Popatlal thinks there is only one person who can take the mango box, Goli.

Meanwhile, Komal serves mango slices to Dr Hati and Goli. Goli starts eating the mango slice. Popatlal comes and says that Goli stole his mango box. Goli says Dr Hati got a mango box for him. Dr Hati says he bought a mango box from the market.
Komal asks what is the matter. Popatlal explains all the matter. Komal says he is not aware of it. Dr Hati says Sodhi likes mangoes, so he must have taken the box.

Popatlal goes to meet Sodhi. He tells Roshan that Sodhi brought his mango box at home and he needs it back. Roshan says Sodhi is making mango lassi with those mangoes.

Sodhi comes with mango lassi and greets Popatlal. Popatlal asks Sodhi to return his mango box. Sodhi says his friends have sent him the mango box and is not aware of Popatlal’s mango box. Roshan asks Popatlal why is he so well dressed. Popatlal explains everything.

Sodhi says Goli must have taken the box. Popatlal says he already asked Goli about it, he doesn’t know anything about the mango box. Sodhi says Bhide must have found the box, he must have brought it home or must have kept it in the society office.

Popatlal goes to meet Bhide. Madhavi greets them. Popatlal asks Madhavi to call Bhide and asks him to return his mango box. Madhavi says Bhide is not at home, he is out delivering pickle to their customers.
