The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Tapu asking Jethalal why he called. Jethalal says he cannot find his cheque book and asks Bapuji to check in his cupboard. Jethalal says he has signed a blank check and so he is worried about the cheque.
Bapuji says he will look into Jethalal’s cupboard. Bagha asks Jethalal to stop Bapuji. Jethalal asks Bapuji to wait over the call and says he will put the phone on speaker. Bagha says Bapuji will not find the cheque book as the cheque book is with him. Bagha says Jethalal bought the cheque book into the shop and forgot to take it back home, so he kept it safe with him.
Bapuji says Jethalal forgets things and then he scolds Tapu. Bapuji starts yelling at Jethalal. Jethalal disconnects the call saying he got another call.
Taarak calls Jethalal and asks him if he knows what all drama emerged in their society. Jethalal says Bapuji explained everything. Jethalal asks Taarak to take Popatlal on a conference call so that they can wish him good luck.
Taarak takes Popatlal on a conference call and wishes him. Popatlal says Gokuldham society is with him and today for sure he will get his life partner.
Popatlal reaches his office. The receptionist says that Pooja was waiting for Popatlal, but he arrived later, so she left. Popatlal worries. The receptionist says Pooja is waiting for him in their cafe, and Pooja asked her to pull a prank on him.
Popatlal goes into the cafe and meets Pooja. Popatlal says Pooja looks more beautiful than her pic which he saw. Popatlal gives her the gift and asks her to open it. Pooja opens the gift and likes it. Pooja says she is a reporter, so she always gets gifts like books and a pen, but Popatlal thought something unique.
Popatlal and Pooja have a nice conversation. Pooja gets a call from a relative. Pooja tells Popatlal that her relatives live in Mumbai and she needs to go to their place for lunch.
Popatlal asks if it’s their last meet. Pooja says they can meet at 5 in the evening. Popatlal asks Pooja to come to their Gokuldham society. Pooja agrees and says she need to tell something important to Popatlal, which she will tell him in the evening. Pooja leaves.
Popatlal calls Tapu-Sena and thanks them for the gift choice. Popatlal also informs them that Pooja is coming into their society to Popatlal in the evening.
Tapu-Sena gets happy starts dancing. Anjali asks them why they are so happy. Tapu says Pooja liked the gift and is impressed with Popatlal. Tapu says Pooja is coming to meet Popatlal in their society.
