The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Popatlal asking Tapu if all the arrangements are done. Tapu says they have done all the arrangements. Popatlal says Pooja will arrive at any minute. Pooja arrives and Popatlal welcomes her. Tapu-Sena also welcomes Pooja with great enthusiasm. Pooja says she is not a celebrity, just a reporter and they don’t have to welcome her in such a way. Goli says in Gokuldham society they welcome all the guests with the same enthusiasm. Tapu says in their society they take away a person’s sadness and lighten up their mood.
Popatlal introduces everyone to Pooja and asks Pooja to come to his house. Popatlal takes Pooja home. Bapuji tells Tapu that he is going home, when Popatlal and Pooja are about to leave, they can call him. Tapu asks Bapuji to wait as Pooja will leave in some time, as she has a flight to catch. Bapuji says he will wait at Dr. Hati’s house.
Popatlal introduces Pooja to all the ladies. Madhavi asks Popatlal to chit chat and they will get snacks for them.
Later, all the ladies talk to Pooja. Madhavi tells Komal that Popatlal is just looking at Pooja and is not eat anything. Anjali asks Pooja if her work is done. Pooja says all her work is done, just one personal work is left. Pooja says that Popatlal is very lucky for her, she came to meet Popatlal and got a promotion too. Everyone congratulates her.
Anjali signs Madhavi and says it’s time to leave them alone. They all go into Popatlal’s room and ask Popatlal to come for a minute. Komal asks Popatlal to talk about their relationship.
Popatlal asks Pooja to share what is in her heart. Pooja says that she likes Popatlal but today she wants to say that she respects him too. Pooja says she takes Popatlal as her idol and wants to follow his step. Pooja says she wants to devote her career to reporting and doesn’t want to get married.
Pooja says that when Popatlal gave a lecture 2 years ago in Indore, many girls wanted to marry Popatlal, but she convinced them that Popatlal is happy alone and doesn’t want anyone to come between him and his career. Pooja takes Popatlal’s blessing and says he is her Guru. Pooja says she needs to leave, or she will get later. All the ladies get shocked and think they need to tell Pooja the truth. Madhavi stops Pooja and tries to tell her the truth. Popatlal stops her.
Popatlal then wishes Pooja all the best for her career. All the ladies also wish Pooja good luck in her career. Popatlal says he will see Pooja off till her taxi.
