The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Bhide who announces permission for Vendors to open Stall in Society. Tapu sena arrives. They all get amazed by listening to the story. Tapu says this Diwali will be the best one. Chachaji then gives a name as ‘Gokuldham Diwali Mela. Bhide announces the opening ceremony of Gokuldham Diwali Mela. Anjali says to Chachaji that he should cut the ribbon. However, Chachaji denies and says that this must be done by all Gokuldham Mahila Mandal. Meanwhile, all the Vendors also request them.
Bhide then says to start the preparation for Gokuldham Diwali Mela. Popatlal says he will print in the newspaper about it. Abdul says that he will distribute pamphlets in the surrounding area. Tapu sena will help him. Later, everyone calls their friends, relatives and invites to the Gokuldham Diwali Mela. Later, Tapu sena starts to distribute pamphlets and also sticks some. Afterwards, they inform Bhide about the work which was assigned to them, and they finish it.
The next day, everyone gets ready for the ceremony. However, Jethalal is missing. Everyone calls out Jethalal, Tapu sees him in the garden busy on the phone. Chachaji goes and calls him. Jethalal comes in a hurry and mistakenly goes over the ribbon. Everyone celebrates but Bhide stops them and says that it was by mistake. Then he lends scissors to each Mahila Mandal member. They cut the ribbon and the Gokuldham Diwali meal begins. Everyone gets engaged in buying.
