In the current scene, Arya (Sharad Kelkar) breaks down in tears after Anu (Niharika Chouksey) rejects his proposal and parts ways with him. Anu holds her ground in front of her parents, while Jhende discovers Arya crying and is angered by Anu’s move. Jhende arrives at Anu’s house in anger.

Today’s episode 208, airing on 31 January, begins with Arya feeling blessed that Jhende is in his life, but he worries about Jhende’s wrath, saying he doesn’t know how he will react. At the same time, Jhende breaks a glass and confronts Anu, telling her that she has broken Arya just like the glass pieces, and asks if she can rejoin that glass.

Anu, Gopal, and Pushpa are stunned while Gopal tells Jhende about the age difference between Arya and Anu. Jhende, in anger, tells Gopal that Anu was aware of this difference from day one, yet she confessed her feelings and took a step towards Arya. He also shared that she was waiting for days for Arya to propose to her, and when he finally did, Anu rejected him.

Jhende, in a firm tone, questions Anu about why she did this, and Gopal tells him he cannot talk to Anu like this. Jhende, in the heat of the moment, tells Gopal to stay away, as it’s between him and Anu. But Anu doesn’t take Jhende’s wrath, telling him firmly, no matter how angry he must be, that he cannot speak to her parents rudely.

Further, Anu tells Jhende she has explained to Arya that she cannot take this relationship further and has also apologised. Jhende is left pissed off while Anu chooses her parents’ happiness over her own.
