Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28 May episode starts with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) playfully bantering with Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and then Kartik says to himself that he’s going to plan a romantic day for them when Naira has already left for office. Gayu returns to Goenka house. Suhasini asks her not to defame her in-laws in front of her family members.
Gayu fails to understand Suhasini’s strange behavior. Naira comes back to Kartik. She hugs Kartik lovingly. Kartik says we will spend the day in each other’s company and love. Gayu craves to eat something sweet. Suhasini says she will make a special sweet dish for her. Gayu says she doesn’t need anything. Naira and Kartik leave for their romantic day out. The two spend a happy time together.
On their way, Naira and Kartik come across some rash drivers. Naira gets upset on them. Kartik calms down her. Kartik files a complaint against the rash drivers. Naira and Kartik stop at a dhaba. Naira uses the washroom while Kartik orders tea for them. When Naira comes out, the same rash drivers try to abduct her. Naira calls out Kartik’s name for help but Kartik fails to hear her cries.
The goons take Naira to the jungle. Kartik comes there searching for Naira. Suhasini (Swati Chitnis) gets panicky when Kartik and Naira fail to answer her calls. Kartik and Naira hit the goons hard and teach them well but just then, one of the goons manages to hit Kartik hard on his head.
