Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 8 May episode begins with Suhasini cursing Naira (Shivangi Joshi) for thinking about her job first. Naira says she did everything possible now she has to leave for her meeting. Kartik (Mohsin Khan) tries to kill time by setting a fire alarm to divert the attention of the guests.
Naira states that she is well aware of what others are planning to do. Suhasini gets irked. Naira states that she will manage her personal as well as professional life equally well. The clients postpone the meeting for tomorrow and ask Mihir to call hid designer for sure.

Kartik holds Naira’s hand and tries to take her away. Kartik narrates everything to Naira. Naira tells the family members that she has left her job. Suhasini supports Naira’s decision.
