The episode begins with Naira getting restless as Kartik left the puja midway. Kartik returns and lies that he went to have water as he was unwell. Naira tells him that the puja got spoiled. Suvarna consoles her and the priest asks them to pray. Kartik remembers Leela and thinks why she avoided them. He prays to god to find some way. At home, Kartik is disturbed thinking how he saw a shadow at Leela’s place and whether he should tell Naira. Just then Kairav comes with a family tree and shows it to Kartik. He says it’s nice but why is there an empty frame. He says they had promised him to get a sister. Kairav hugs Kartik and says he is the best father and Kartik calls Kairav as the best son.
Kartik tells Naira that he lied about being unwell, he went as he saw Leela. Naira says that it happens when we are desperate to meet someone, maybe she avoided him because of her illness. Naira tells him to free the baby from their memories and forget the past. But Kartik decides to find his daughter. On the other hand, Dadi recalls the ruined puja and worries. Samarth asks her but she lies. Kartik has a dream about his daughter and wakes up. Naira tells him that they need to start afresh. Kartik reads news about newborns being kidnapped and relates it to his daughter.
Meanwhile, Naira hears Manish and Suvarna talk about fading romance with responsibilities. Naira hears this and decides to rekindle her romance with Kartik. She decides to make food for him. Kartik, on the other hand, decides to go to the police. Samarth asks Gayu to get ready to go out. She says they will take Vansh as well, but he refuses. Kartik meets the police and speaks about newborn kidnapping. The police show him the list of hospitals involved in the scam. He spots the name of City Hospital. At home, as Kartik returns, Naira tries to get romantic, but Kartik doesn’t respond. Kartik eventually tells Naira everything. She says these things happen only in films. He tries to tell her that it has happened with them, but she refuses to accept. While Kartik, Naira, Kairav and Vansh play, the inspector signs Kartik and he tells that around the time their daughter was born, City hospital was involved in the scam. As the inspector and Kartik talk Naira looks on.
