The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat thinking that she understood what Kartik couldn’t say and thanks him. Kartik runs behind the police van. The constable thinks if Kartik is mad. Sirat asks Kartik not to come behind them. Kartik keeps running and stops the van. The inspector asks him if he wants to die. Kartik says he wants to save someone. Kartik says Sirat has got bail and they cannot take her. Indira comes there and shows the bail papers to the inspector. Kartik says Sirat is innocent. Kartik and Sirat come to the police station. The media question him why he is supporting Sirat when they both don’t have anything between them or if Kartik helped Sirat to kill Ranvir. Aradhana asks Kartik to answer the media. Kartik says he and Sirat are just friends and now he has bailed out Sirat, soon he will prove that Ranvir died with lead poisoning and will also prove Sirat innocent. Kartik leaves with Sirat.
Mr. Chauhan breaks the TV with a vase and says he will not leave Sirat and Kartik. Kartik takes Sirat to immerse Nani’s ashes in the river. Kartik says he has promised Ranvir and Nani that he will always stand by Sirat. Sirat immerses Nani’s ashes in the river and recollects her. Sirat says Nani was everything to her from being a mother to a best friend. She asks how can Nani leave her alone.
Kartik asks Sirat to come with him. Sirat says she doesn’t have any home. Nani and Ranvir are gone and now she doesn’t have anyone. Kartik insists she comes. Sirat says she doesn’t want Kartik’s family to face any problems due to her. Kartik takes Sirat to some house.
Kartik tells Sirat that he and Naira bought the house to stay on vacation, and Sirat can stay there. Manish says he knows where Kartik can take Sirat. Manish calls Kartik. Kartik tells Manish where he is. Manish scolds Kartik. Kartik says Manish will not let Sirat come into their house, and she is safe in the other house. Sirat hears their conversation. Kartik says he bailed out Sirat, now he has to take care of their business.
Kartik asks Sirat to stay in that house, as he is going to a business meeting. Sirat thinks Kartik and his family have done a lot for him and will not trouble them.
Later, Kartik returns to that house and finds Sirat’s note in which she mentioned that she will fight her own battle, she is leaving and asks him not to try to find her. Kartik gets upset.
