The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat apologising to Kartik. Kartik says Sirat’s apology will not resolve anything. Kartik says there are many articles on him, his family and Sirat which are false and only Sirat can prove them wrong. Kartik says Sirat is running from the truth but he and his family have to go through a lot. Kartik says Sirat is living as Simran but his family is still in Udaipur and facing all the accusations. Kartik takes their uncle’s phone and puts 18 hours timer on it. Kartik says he will leave tomorrow evening by 5 pm and till then Sirat has time to decide want she wants. Kartik says it will be their last meet if Sirat decides to give up on her and Nani’s dream and stay in Dalhousie. Kartik asks Sirat to think about his family before making the decision. Kartik leaves. Sirat recalls enjoying with Gonekas. Kartik video calls Kairav and says he is returning home. Kairav gets happy.
The next day, Sirat thinks it will be her and Kartik’s last meet and says it’s good that they will never meet again. The inspector calls Sirat and asks if she wants to file a complaint against Vishwa. Sirat says she wants them to punish Vishwa for troubling her and says she will not take the complaint back.
Kartik takes care of Aunty and asks if she is feeling dizzy. Aunty says no, but asks if she feels dizzy then will Kartik wait. Kartik says he has to go. Sirat is working in the flower shop. Vishwa comes and threatens her to take back the complaint or he will expose her as he knows Sirat’s truth. Vishwa gives her time till 5 pm.
Later at 5 pm, Vishwa comes to Sirat and misbehaves with her. Sirat starts punching him. Kartik is about to leave when uncle gets a call and they all go to their shop. Sirat beats Vishwa. Kartik stops her. Vishwa tells uncle and Aunty that she is not Simran, she is Sirat. He says that Sirat has a police case on her of killing her own husband with the help of Kartik. Kartik asks Vishwa to leave.
Kartik tells the truth to uncle and aunty. Kartik says Sirat has to fake her identity but she did not kill her husband. Uncle and Aunty believe Sirat and say Sirat is like their daughter and she will never do such. Kartik asks Sirat to thinks about her dreams. He says Sirat is getting a chance to fulfil her and Nani’s dream, but she doesn’t want to come. If that is so, it’s their last goodbye.
