The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Manish saying that now Aradhana will manipulate the interview and doesn’t know how she will present it in front of everyone. Naksh says they have to hire a criminal lawyer. Suwarna says Kartik did not do any crime. Manish asks where is Kartik. Surekha says Kartik is with Nani. Kartik shows Nani some videos in which Sirat is enjoying and dancing. Nani says she wants to see Sirat before she dies. Kartik asks Nani to think positively and asks her to watch the video. Nani asks Kartik if he will take care of Sirat after she dies. Kartik stands speechless. Kartik shows the video to Nani and says Sirat is dancing like a monkey. Nani smiles and says Sirat is like money. She asks Kartik not to tell Sirat about it. Kartik says he will tell Sirat and then Sirat will argue with Nani. Kartik and Nani laugh.
Sirat draws Nani’s picture and says she is missing her Nani. Nani gets short of breath. She calls Kartik near him. Kartik holds her hand and worries. Nani dies. Kartik cries and thinks he couldn’t complete her last wish, he couldn’t make Nani meet Sirat. Gayu comes there and shouts Nani. Everyone comes there and gets shocked to see that Nani is no more. Everyone cries. Kartik thinks about how he will tell Sirat.
Sirat talks to Nani’s sketch. A lady comes near Sirat and talks to her. Sirat says she is missing her Nani. She says Nani was the one who supported her and Nani is the reason for her success. Sirat says she is feeling like Nani is coming to meet her. Kartik comes to the police station. The inspector comes to Sirat and says someone has come to meet her. Sirat smiles and says her Nani has come to meet her. Sirat is unable to walk as she is not well. The constable supports her.
Sirat sees Kartik and asks where is Nani. Sirat says she was missing Nani. Sirat asks if Nani has come to meet her and asks where she is. Kartik cries. Sirat asks if Nani is okay. Kartik says he has come to take Sirat to meet Nani. Sirat smiles. Kartik says he is taking Sirat to see Nani for the last time. Sirat gets shocked and faints.
Later, Sirat and Kartik come home in a police van. Sirat cannot step ahead so she runs on the opposite side. The inspector holds Sirat and warns her. Kartik takes Sirat inside. Sirat cries looking at Nani. She faints recollecting her good time with Nani. Suwarna holds Sirat and says they shall immerse the ashes. Suwarna says they should talk to Sirat about Nani’s last wish. Dadi says Sirat is not in a state to remember anything. Sirat cries looking at Nani. Kartik gets upset.
