The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Naksh and Kirti celebrating Rakshabandhan with Goenka’s. They dance and enjoy. Kirti ties Rakhi to Kartik. Suwarna ties Rakhi to Kairav and Vansh on behalf of Akshara. Gayu ties Rakhi to Naksh. Naksh looks at Naira’s picture and misses her. Kairav says lets dance. Sirat goes to Naksh and tells him that if it is fine with him, he should forward his hand. Naksh says it is true that no one can replace Naira but it is true that Sirat’s nature is just like Naira. Naksh says she sees Naira in Sirat and will be proud to get a sister like Sirat. Sirat gets happy and ties Rakhi to Naksh. Naksh thanks Kartik for giving him a sister like Sirat.
Sirat thanks Kartik for encouraging him all the time and giving him true relations. Kartik asks Sirat if she kept the papers safely as they have to give them to their lawyer tomorrow. Sirat says yes. She says she is very happy as they will prove their innocence and she will be free. Sirat says she cannot wait for tomorrow.
The next day, Sirat goes to a mountain cliff to take fresh air. Kartik comes there and says he was worried about Sirat. Sirat says she did not get sleep the whole night and just wanted fresh air. She says today her Nani will be so happy as she will prove herself innocent. Kartik says she should move back from the cliff. Sirat says she will wait for 5 minutes and then they can leave together. Kartik says he will call their lawyer. Sirat thinks about her freedom.
Mr. Chauhan comes there and says he will punish Sirat for what she did. He pushes Sirat. Sirat holds his hand. Mr. Chauhan says Ranvir took her bullet and died of lead poisoning. He says he will send Sirat to Ranvir and she will never get to prove herself. Sirat calls out Kartik. Kartik cannot hear her. Kartik ends the call and sees Mr. Chauhan. He gets out of his car and runs to Sirat. Mr. Chauhan leaves his hand and Sirat falls off the cliff.
Mr. Chauhan sees Kartik and smiles. Kartik sees Sirat holding to the edge of the cliff. Kartik asks Sirat to hold his hand. Sirat asks Kartik to leave as it is better if she dies, no one cares for her. Kartik says he cares for her as he loves her. Kartik confesses his love and saves Sirat.
Mr. Chauhan takes the case file and leaves. Kartik and Sirat return home. Kartik tells their lawyer that he wants to file a case against Mr. Chauhan. The lawyer says they need a witness except for Kartik and Sirat or Mr Chauhan’s lawyer will claim that their accusation is fake.
