The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik apologising to Sirat for not trying to stop her when she returned to him. He says now he will stop Sirat and asks will she stay back with him. Sirat takes her ring and gets on her knees. She tells Kartik that when Kartik dropped the ring, she picked it up as it was yes from her side but had no courage to tell him. Sirat asks Kartik if he is ready to handle her foolishness, share his life and his family with her. She reminds Kartik that she is asking him if he is ready to marry her or not. She asks Kartik if he is ready to become Mr. Sirat Shikhawat. Kartik says he will get ready to marry her on one condition if she is ready to marry him as she loves him and is not under any pressure. Sirat says I love you to Kartik. Both start blushing. Kartik says this ring won’t fit him. He takes the ring and makes Sirat wear the ring.
Dadi and others are waiting for Kartik to return and think if Kartik was able to stop Sirat or not. Kartik comes home. Dadi asks Kartik what happened and why is he looking upset. Suwarna asks where is Sirat, did he stop her or not. Kirti asks does Sirat love him or not. Kartik says Sirat loves him and wants to marry him. Everyone gets happy. Sirat comes there. Kairav goes and hugs Sirat. Sirat looks at everyone and apologises as she caused trouble for everyone.
Kartik and Sirat take elders blessings. Dadi says they have to start the marriage procedure. Dadi calls the panditji and asks about a good mahurat. The panditji says tomorrow is the shubh mahurat and if not tomorrow they have to wait for 6 months. Dadi informs everyone about it. Kirti says they will start the preparation as the marriage should happen tomorrow itself. Suwarna says Sirat cannot stay with Kartik as they are getting married tomorrow.
The next day, Goenka’s are busy with all the preparation. Kartik gets ready and goes to Manish. Manish compliments him. Kartik asks Manish if he will tie the pagdi. Manish agrees and ties the pagdi. Kartik asks Manish to try to accept Sirat. Manish says he will try. Suwarna goes to call Sirat.
