The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Suwarna telling Sirat that she should have asked her to feed Akshara. Suwarna says Akshara stained Sirat’s dupatta and tries to clean it. Kairav comes there and gets amazed to see Sirat. He says Dadi is calling them down. Suwarna says they have to clean the stain. Kairav says he has an idea. Manish gets Kartik to the wedding hall. Kartik searches for Sirat. Dadi tells Kartik that she has sent Kairav to call Sirat, already Suwarna is there and doesn’t know what is taking so long. Kairav and Suwarna arrive with Sirat. Kartik and others look at Sirat.
Kirti looks at the badge on Sirat’s dupatta and asks what is it. Kairav says Sirat’s dupatta got stained so he made the badge and wrote Goenka rocks on it. Sirat asks Kartik how the badge is. Kartik says the badge is amazing and they all should wear the badge. Kairav says he only made 1 badge and now it will take a lot of time to make it. Kartik says the panditji has not yet arrived till then they can make the badges. Kartik asks his family members to continue doing the arrangements while he will help Kairav to make the badges.
Dadi tries to call the panditji but the phone doesn’t get connected. Sheela arrives and says that it is good that the panditji has not yet arrived. Sheela says what they will do when panditji will ask someone to come to do Sirat’s kanyadan. Sheela says she has arrived on time to do Sirat’s kanyadan and bless her. Dadi says Sirat doesn’t need her blessing. Suwarna asks her where she was when Sirat had to face a lot of accusations. Sheela says she wasn’t aware of it and as Mukesh told her about Sirat, she came to meet her.
Sheela tells Manish that she wants to talk to Manish. Manish says he doesn’t want to talk. Sheela says she will reveal everything. Surekha stops her and asks Sheela to come with her. Manish goes behind her. Sheela says her son is not well and needs some money. Manish says he will not give any money. Sheela says she will expose Manish by telling his family that Manish was planning with her to break Kartik and Sirat’s marriage. Manish asks how much money she needs. Sheela says 50 Lakhs. Manish says he will not give any money.
Manish comes and informs everyone that Sheela is asking for money from him and can never become a good mother. Sheela says Manish is also not a good father as he was trying to break Kartik and Sirat’s marriage before. Manish says he was trying as he was against their marriage and till today he is against Kartik and Sirat’s marriage. Manish says Sheela is evil and Sirat is her daughter, so Sirat will also be evil and can destroy them. Manish says Sirat looks like Naira but cannot be like Naira as she has bad values from her mother and cannot be his bahu. Sirat hears that.
Kartik comes and asks what happened. Sirat leaves. Kartik goes behind her. Kartik comes out and says that Sirat told him everything. He asks Sheela if she is shameless as she has come to ask for money from her daughter’s family with whom she was never on good terms. Kartik says he will pay all the money which Sheela wants but after that Sheela should not come near Sirat or their family.
Panditji arrives. Dadi says that Sirat did not tell anything about Manish, it’s not Sirat’s mistakes as someone else is provoking Manish. Manish looks at Surekha.
