The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat running behind the taxi and trying to call Gayu. The driver sees Sirat running and taking a different turn. Gayu asks the driver which way he is taking. The driver says he knows a shortcut. Gayu asks the driver to take a U-turn. The driver says it’s one way and cannot take a U-turn. Gayu asks the driver to stop the car. The driver stops the car. Gayu gets out of the car with Vatsal and Vansh. She tries to go away from the driver. The driver takes out his knife and asks them to give him all the jewellery and cash or he will harm the baby. Gayu says she will give all the jewellery. Sirat comes there with Kartik and punches the driver.
Sirat recollects Kartik coming in his car and she asks Kartik to go follow the driver. Kartik beats the driver and says how dare he try to harm Gayu. Sirat asks Gayu if she is okay. Gayu says she is fine. Kartik asks Gayu why she left the house. Gayu says she is happy with her kids and doesn’t want to get married. Gayu says nobody loves her as everyone is trying to send her away. Kartik says they all love her. Sirat apologises to Gayu and says that Gayu tried to tell her what she felt but she did not understand what was in her mind.
Sirat asks Gayu to come back home. Gayu denies. Kartik promises that no one will force Gayu to get married. Goenkas worry. Manish hopes Gayu is safe. Kartik, Sirat, Gayu, Vansh and Vatsal return home. Dadi asks their maid to take Vatsal into the room. Kairav and Vansh also go into their room. Manish tells Sirat that he gave her one work and she couldn’t complete it.
Gayu mentions that it’s not Sirat’s mistake. She says that she couldn’t open up and thought that Sirat will understand as Naira used to understand. Sirat feels bad as she couldn’t understand what Gayu was going through. Dadi tells Gayu that she is their daughter and should never leave the house again.
Sirat goes into her room and thinks she will try to understand everyone, become like Naira and win everyone’s heart. Kartik hugs Sirat and calms her. Kairav comes there and says that they have an exhibition, he has to make something which will be sold in that exhibition and the money which will get collected will go to charity. Manish says they don’t have more time, so he will give a check as charity. Kartik says let Kairav make something.
Sirat asks Kairav to make greeting cards and sell them in his exhibition. Kairav says it’s a good idea. Kartik and Sirat help Kairav to make the greeting cards. Sirat buys 2 cards from Kairav. Kartik asks her why she is buying the cards. Sirat says tomorrow 2 important people are celebrating their birthday and she bought the cards for them. Kairav leaves.
Later, Kairav comes home and says all his cards got sold and he got a star and his amount was the highest. Kairav gives the star to Sirat and thanks her for such an amazing idea. Sirat thinks she will give such good ideas like Naira and make her place into everyone’s heart.
