The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat telling the nurses only her child is with her. The nurses say they will make preparations. Kairav tells them to take Sirat and he will take care of Akshu. Kairav prays to God, he tells Doctor to start Sirat’s treatment. The doctor tells him to try calling his father. Manish says the presentation and meeting went well. Kartik says he won’t be able to focus until Sirat’s delivery is done. Manish tells him to relax as there are still two months left. He says he can’t express how restless he is feeling. Akhilesh tells Kartik to focus on Sirat while they will handle the work. The doctor tells the nurse to make Sirat sign the form. Kairav is calling Kartik. Sirat gets unconscious, so doctors rush to her. Kartik picks up the call and asks where is mumma. Kairav says they are at the hospital as the baby is coming. Kartik tells him to not joke. Kairav shows him Sirat and says he is not joking.
Kartik asks where are other family members are, Kairav says everyone is at the temple. He says he will come soon and tells the doctor to give the phone to Sirat. Kartik over the call tells Sirat to open her eyes. Sirat wakes up and sees Kartik, he says he will come there soon. Manish tells Kartik to leave quickly. Gayu says they should go home as Sirat would be worried. Suwarna says she will call her and check. She gets worried seeing all the missed calls from Sirat. Gayu asks if Sirat is alright. The driver comes and informs them that they need to rush to the hospital as Sirat and the kids are over there.
Kartik reaches the hospital and sees Kairav. He hugs him and asks if he is fine. Kairav says he is fine but was worried when Sirat started having pain. He assures him nothing will happen to Sirat, doctor comes and informs him that normal delivery won’t be possible. So they have to operate on her, so he will have to sign a form. Kartik says he is ready to sign it and asks them to do their best. He goes to meet Sirat and shows her the fairy toy. Kartik says he kept it safe to give it to their daughter, he asks her to promise that she will make that happen. Sirat nods and is taken to the OT. Kartik asks Kairav how he brought Sirat here, Kairav tells the whole story.
Manish tells Kartik to stay strong. The doctor comes and informs that Sirat’s condition is critical and we might not be able to save the child. Kartik asks how can they say that, the doctor says the baby is weak. Kartik says this won’t happen, nothing will happen to Sirat and baby. Manish says he is upset with Sirat but he knows Sirat never loses, we should believe that. The whole family pray. They hear the baby cry, Dadi says it means the baby is fine. They rush to see the baby. The nurse informs that baby is weak, so they have to keep her in an incubator. Kairav asks her if it is a baby boy or a baby girl. He says he wanted a girl, the nurse says God has heard his prayer.
