The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Sirat calling Suwarna to ask if Akshu and Aarohi are fine. Suwarna says she should focus on boxing as they are here to take care of the kids. Kartik informs Sirat Arvind Sir will train her as the coach is out of town. The talent manager Shukla says she has to train well for the Asian championship. He gets weights and tells Sirat to lift them to check her fitness level. Sirat attempts to lift them, Kartik asks if she is fine. Sirat says she is fine but not fit. Shukla says they have only one week time and she won’t be able to do it till then. Kartik tells him to give her some time. He motivates Sirat saying she is fit and needs to fight with herself before fighting with the world. Sirat lifts the weights and everyone clap for her. Arvind says well done and welcome back. Sirat practices boxing, Arvind tells her to not exhaust herself and take a break. Sirat says she will call family.
Sirat calls Suwarna to asks about the kids. Suwarna asks if she doesn’t trust them with her kids. Sirat says she is just worried. She tells Sirat to focus on her practice and not worry. Surekha taunts, Suwarna says Sirat has become a mother for the first time so it’s natural for her to be tensed. Dadi jokes about Surekha. Kartik tells Sirat he will finish work and then go home to spend time with the kids. Sirat calls Suwarna again but she doesn’t pick up as they are busy doing aarti. Arvind asks Sirat to focus. Sirat gets worried about the kids so goes back home. She sees the fallen pram and shouts Aarohi. Everyone comes, she asks if Aarohi is fine. She holds Aarohi and hugs her. Sirat asks where is Akshu, Suwarna says Gayu is feeding her khichdi.
Sirat apologises saying Suwarna was not answering the call and the pram was fallen, so she got worried. Kairav says they were oiling the wheel, so had turned it upside down. Suwarna says they were doing aarti so didn’t answer her call. Surekha says she doesn’t trust them. Sirat says she trusts everyone as they have more experience with raising kids but she can’t convince her heart. Suwarma sweetly scolds her to not leave her training next time. Sirat gets a call from her trainer, she apologises saying this won’t happen again. Kartik comes home asking Sirat if she left her training in between. Sirat says she was not able to focus. Kartik asks if she does not trust them. Sirat says she trusts everyone. Kartik tells her to trust herself. He says every working woman has the guilt of leaving kids behind. She has to adjust a bit and she will soon realise that the kids are fine.
Kartik tells her that when kids grow up they will be proud of her. So she should have faith that the kids are fine and focus on work. Akshu claps, Kartik says even she approves it. Sirat thanks him and says this mistake won’t happen again. She has gotten support from everyone and won’t lose now. Kartik tells Sirat to have food. Aarohi cries, Kartik says he will go check. Suwarna says Aarohi should get habitual to Kartik. Kairav says they have an inter-school debate competition result announcement tomorrow and all the parents are called. Kartik says he will come as Sirat can’t come because of practice. Kairav says he might get a prize. Kartik says Sirat has to win the prize for the country. Everyone tells Sirat to go. Kartik says she doesn’t have to listen to them and focus on her practice. Kairav says fine don’t come. Sirat feels bad.
