The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Naira buying gifts for Kairav’s birthday.
Dadi calls Naira. Naira turns and sees Kartik and Kairav with Ridhima.
Naira declines the calls and sends a text message to Dadi.
Naira thinks who is with Kairav, is she from his school.
Ridhima asks Kairav what he wants on his birthday which makes Kairav think about Naira making plans for his birthday.
Later, Naira thinks about Ridhima while she is packing gifts for Kairav. She gets a text from Kartik to come on the terrace. Naira and Akshara go on the terrace. The watchman asks what she is doing on the terrace. Naira says she got her baby here.
The watchman thinks that there is something between Naira and Kartik. Kartik comes on the terrace and meets Naira and Akshara. Kartik shows Kairav’s video to Naira. Naira smiles.
Ridhima calls Kartik. Kartik disconnects.
Naira asks Kartik about Ridhima. Kartik says that Ridhima is Kairav’s counsellor. Naira gets upset because of her, Kairav has to go to a counsellor, and he can’t share anything with his mom.
Naira says that Kairav is going away from her. Kartik says that he will never let Kairav forget Naira.
Naira says that she doesn’t want any outsider to snatch Kairav away from her. Kartik hugs Naira and asks her to come to his house and see Kairav as he is sleeping.
The watchman sees Naira and Kartik and thinks that they are having an extramarital affair. He decides to complain to the secretary.
Meanwhile, Naira sees Kairav and cries. She says that she is a bad mother. Kairav wakes up and gets scared, thinking he saw Naira. Naira and Akshara hide.
