In today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Akshara has an encounter with Anisha. She becomes agitated. Swarna tells Goenkas that Abhimanyu’s surgery is postponed. She claims that Mahima is eager for Anisha and Kairav Mehendi to be completed. Suhasini explains how they will be ready for the event so quickly. Manish thinks they can do it so they can concentrate on Abhimanyu’s operation when the wedding is completed. Akshara notices Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu acts happy. Akshata tells him that he can at least express his suffering to her. She assures Abhimanyu that she will be there for him whenever he needs her, and she begs him not to worry. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he is fine. Abhimanyu tells Akshara to get ready for Kairav and Anisha’s wedding. Akshara is worried as she can’t tell Abhimanyu anything.
Then in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anisha removes her boyfriend’s photos and messages. Akshara tells Anisha that before the Mehemdi ceremony starts, she should tell both families the truth. Akshara requests Anisha to tell the truth. Anisha gets emotional and tries to blackmail Akshara. She requests Akshara to consider her perspective as well. Anisha asks Akshara to give her time. The Goenkas and Birlas talk about Kairav and Anisha’s Mehendi ceremony. Manish informs everyone that Swarna’s brother is ill therefore she won’t come for the ceremony. Manjiri and Mahima ask if Swarna will return till the wedding. Suhasini promises that Swarna will return before the wedding if everything works well. Neil remarks that Akshara is looking tense and that she is hiding something from them. Vansh tells Akshara that she shouldn’t have heard the conversation since she would have been on their side.
Later in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Neil claims that Akshara will be on Birlas’ side. Akshara panics after seeing everyone happy. She sings to calm herself down. Abhimanyu dresses up. He examines Akshara when she is sleeping. Kunal receives a message from Abhimanyu asking him to return soon to complete his surgery. He emphasises the significance of both Akshara’s singing and his surgery and exhorts Kunal to return soon. Akshara hears what Abhimanyu is saying. Abhimanyu requests Akshara to get ready for the ceremony. Akshara becomes anxious. Anisha sent Kairav a card of apology. She vows to live for a lifetime with him. Vansh and Arohi see the card and bouquet and make fun of Kairav.
Lastly in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kairav becomes irate. Manish and Akhilesh ask Kairav about his response to Anish’s presents. Kairav interrupts the conversation and claims that the factory problem is making him anxious. Birlas go to the Goenkas. Abhimanyu and Akshara converse with each other. He tells her to enjoy Anisha and Kairav’s Mehendi ceremony without thinking much about his surgery or her singing. Akshara sits quietly. The Birlas and Goenkas are thrilled to see Kairav in informal attire.
Manish tells everyone that Kairav is stressed and will get ready shortly. Anisha tries to talk with Kairav. Abhimanyu goes to apply Mehendi to Kairav. Then Kairav rejects carrying out the ceremony.
