The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik pushing Sirat in the water pool. Everyone laughs. Kartik signs her and apologizes.
Sirat tries to push Kartik into the pool but Kartik moves and Manish falls in the pool. The situation gets tensed. Everyone controls themselves, but then, laughs out loud. Manish also laughs. Sirat feels relieved.

Rhea goes to Sirat and says Manish was in good mood or else he would have thrown Sirat out of the outhouse. Sirat asks why does Rhea care. Rhea says it’s a special day for her.
Sirat says today is Holi and special for everyone. Rhea says today she and Kartik’s alliance is fixed and Manish will make the announcement soon.

Sirat says Manish did not find a better girl for Kartik than Rhea. Sirat says she doesn’t like Kartik and Rhea’s Jodi.
Dadi makes sweets and asks everyone to eat. Everyone makes some or other excuses and leaves. Nani comes to Dadi and eats sweet from Dadi.

Dadi and Nani have a conversation. Dadi asks if Sirat is her granddaughter. Nani says yes, and says that she is living only for Sirat.
Nani says she wants to see Sirat getting married and then she can die peacefully. Dadi asks Nani to find someone for Sirat. Nani says Sirat is not ready to marry, she wants to focus on boxing.

Dadi asks Nani whom she wants Sirat to marry. Nani says who will love Sirat a lot. Nani says she met Kartik in their market and expected him to marry Sirat.
Dadi recollects Kairav’s word.

Later, Kairav asks Kartik to get water-soluble colors. Kartik agrees but then gets busy with Luv-Kush. Kairav says he will get colors from outhouse.
Kairav goes in outhouse, lights a diya and throws the matchstick. The blanket catches fire. Kairav worries. He searches for water, and the fire spreads. Sirat goes to check on Kairav.
Sirat sees the fire and goes to Kairav. She covers Kairav and tries to save him. Sirat’s legs get stuck.

The servant informs the family that the outhouse caught fire and Kairav is stuck inside.
A lamp is about to fall on Kairav. Sirat pushes him and the lamp falls on Sirat. Kartik rushes inside and gets Kairav and Sirat out. Sirat faints.

Later, Sirat gains consciousness and asks where is Kairav. Kairav says he is fine and asks if she is okay. Sirat says she is fine just has some pain in her hand.
Everyone thanks Sirat for saving Kairav from the fire.
