The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kairav declaring Sirat as the winner. Sirat starts dancing and jumping with happiness. Suwarna says that Sirat’s traditional touch has made the idol unique. Dadi tells Kartik and Sirat to take their idols first. Kartik remembers Naira while Sirat recalls her and Ranvir’s Gangaur. She tells Kartik to promise that he will keep the fast for her, he says he promises to fast for her until he is alive. They then take their idols.
Sirat asks Kartik if he and Naira always came here, he says not always but often. She says then you must be seeing her everywhere. He says yes, and asks her the same question. Sirat says she too has many memories with him about Gangaur. They reach the temple. Ranvir comes there too. Sirat remembers Ranvir’s words and how he left her without telling her what her mistake was. He asks Sirat if she is fine she says yes, and asks him the same thing he nods. They keep their idols, he recalls Naira and starts to cry.
Sirat says she has kept fast for Kartik but somehow can’t stop thinking about Ranvir. Dadi tells her to take control of her heart and do pooja. Dadi tells her that even if he comes in front of her, she should not care about him after what he did to her. Nani tells Dadi about a traditional dance that is a part of the rasam. Dadi asks Sirat about the rasam. Sirat and Kairav come with pots, Kartik is shocked to see so many pots. Sirat says it’s easy and starts doing the traditional dance. Ranvir stumbles, Sirat also stumbles and the pot falls down. Kartik holds her. Sirat says it’s an abshagun. Kartik tells her not to say such things and goes to bring the idols, Sirat accompanies him.
Kartik asks Sirat to choose an idol. She sees a churni and tells him that we will keep the churni for the broken pot. They go to take the churni but it flies away. Kartik says we will buy another one, the man says this was the last one. Kartik says he will go and get it. The churni falls on Ranvir, Kartik tells him that it’s his fiancee’s, Ranvir says that he was about to keep it. Kartik says that thank God it fell on him and not on the ground or else he won’t be able to take it. He says it was nice to meet him. Ranvir says he hopes he says the same thing next time they meet. Kartik says that he is so cool and asks him where his love is. He says she is not here but he has kept the fast for her. Kartik says that he is ultra-cool for doing that and prays that he meets his love soon.
