The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik telling Manish that if he will support Kartik, then nothing wrong can happen with Kartik. Suwarna says when Naira and Kartik got married they did not become Kartik’s family, but this time she and Manish will be attending the wedding as Kartik’s parents. Kartik and Sirat continue jogging and gets nervous. Sirat thinks why Nani changed the engagement date. Kartik thinks about Naira. Both come in front of each other. Sirat asks Kartik if he is having a weird feeling. Sirat says she is having a weird feeling about their engagement and hopes this feeling will go by tomorrow. Sirat says before when she was getting married, she did not get such a feeling. Kartik asks Sirat to return to her room and rest.
The next day, Kartik and Sirat for their next ritual. Nani asks Sirat to stand under the tree and asks Suwarna to do the ritual. Surekha asks Nani about the ritual. Nani explains the ritual. A crow’s droppings fall on Sirat’s hai. Sirat asks Nani if that is also included in their ritual. Nani says Sirat can take it as God’s blessings. Kartik asks Sirat to rinse her hair 2-3 times. Sirat says she will not rinse her hair until their marriage and will come near Kartik. Sirat leaves.
Later, Kartik sees a ring poster and recollects his engagement with Naira. Kartik imagines Naira standing and goes to hug her. Naira disappears.
Kartik thinks after a long time he saw Naira; he thinks Naira wanted to say something, he also thinks that Naira feels like he is cheating on her by marrying Sirat. Kartik says she will not get engaged to Sirat. Kirti comes and asks Kartik what happened. Kartik says he saw Naira after a long time and thinks that Naira wanted to tell him something. Kartik says he cannot cheat on Naira, he cannot marry Sirat. Kartik says Naksh is right, Sirat is Naira’s look alike but their heart will never match. Gayu hears their conversation and goes to Naksh.
Gayu tells Naksh that because of him Kartik changed his decision. Naksh says he won’t like it if any girl will take Naira’s place. Gayu says Sirat will never take Naira’s place; she says that Kartik loves only one girl, Naira. Gayu says that even she believes that Sirat is not Naira; it took a while for her to understand that Sirat is not Naira, but it was too late, as Sirat already made a place in her heart.
Gayu says Kartik is getting married to Sirat just for his kids. Gayu says her family is happy today. She says that Sirat bought happiness to their family.
Meanwhile, Sirat gets ready for her engagement. She looks at Naira’s pic and says that she will never take Naira’s place, but will complete her responsibilities by taking care of Kairav.
