Today’s Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai 12 July episode begins withNaina (Ashi Singh) and Sameer (Randeep Rai) doing each other’s facial. He posed cutely for her as she clicked his photo. He applied some of it on her face too and she chased him for revenge. Rakesh said youngsters didn’t have patience. He could hear his Principal scolding him in school. Sameer said Bakshi was scolding her for no reason. Rakesh did not mind. Naina said she didn’t leave the job in a huff. She had realized that Bakshi wouldn’t let her progress.
He would sell her stories as his own. She had understood that she can sell her own stories on her own. She will share it with famous writers. Rakesh asked her how it will help. She reasoned that she will earn money if her story was accepted. Sameer was excited thinking of the prospects.
There were many producers who were willing to new scripts. She had seen one such name in a list and it was like shooting an arrow in the dark to contact her. She did it with faith. Aruna Irani served stale food to her writers. They complained but she reasoned that the food items were just like their idea. They left.
Naina called Aruna ji. Naina went quiet realising it was indeed Aruna ji and did not believe her. Aruna ji cajoled her to speak. Naina requested her to make her talk to Aruna ji. Aruna ji pretendes to pass on the phone to herself and modulated her tone. Naina got super excited to hear her voice and fangirled her. Aruna ji asked her to come to the point. Naina shared that she was a writer. She had to tell her a story. Aruna ji asked her if she liked chipa, samosas and cold drinks. Naina agreed. Aruna ji said she will give phone to her Secretary who will guide her further. She talked to her as Geeta and invited her over to her office day after tomorrow at 5 pm.
She ended the call. Everyone thought they were story writer. They should actually come up with something. Naina and Preeti ran towards each other. They were equally excited to share the good news with each other. Vanita decided that Anita will go first. Naina told them about her phone call and meeting with Aruna ji. Sejal offered to accompany her. They sang her song and grooved. Vanita reminded them that they were in the middle of their society. It was Preeti’s turn. She shared that there was an old acquaintance of the family and they were discussing Tanvi’s alliance with the family. It was Pundit. Naina got excited. Preeti told her that she found out that Pundit was also looking for a bride so he proposed his name.
Rakesh was talking to someone about Pundit. Sameer overheard him. He wasn’t a dumb guy. He had opened the first supermarket in Ahmedabad. Naina also seconds Sameer. Rakesh said he could not believe that such a fool had progressed so much. Naina pepped up Sameer. Her best friend was coming. He complained that their house was very small. She assured him it won’t be like that. He asked her if she wrote a story for Aruna ji. She told him that they would write it together as they did during his audition. He smiled. She told him to smile like this always. They shared a hug. Naina and Sameer spent the entire night preparing a story for Aruna ji. There were papers scattered all over the room. They fell asleep while brainstorming. Pundit came to Naina’s society with Sameer. Preeti shouted at him from upstairs.
Pundit agreed. Naina asked him to come up. Pundit asked Sameer for the ladder. He asked if she remembered how they used to climb up the ladder earlier so she could meet Bhabhi ji. Naina teased him by taking Rakesh’s name. He told her not to scare him. She asked him to come upstairs. He agreed. Shubham asked Preeti if she was sure Pundit was the right guy for Tanvi. Preeti said he hadn’t seen anything yet. Pundit used to groove the entire Ahmedabad to his tunes. Shubham thought Pundit might agree to marry Tanvi. Preeti also spoke positively about it.
Tanvi came there wearing a mask but Preeti told her to remove it. Pundit danced in Naina’s house as well and asked Naina for tea. She went to make it. Sameer and Pundit caught up on old times. Pundit asked about Rakesh. Rakesh said he was still here. Pundit asked him. Nirmala ji was so excited that she wanted to do the Roka today. They would also get Tanvi married within 3-4 months. Shubham spoke of economics but his mother wasn’t bothered about the expenditure. He will spend no less than 10 lacs. He panicked.
Preeti requested her MIL to speak slowly or Shubham’s economics would go for a toss. Everyone smiled. Gauri brought Gujarati sweets for Munna. She had put Sejal to work. She showed a necklace for Tanvi. Nirmala ji was touched. She gave credit to Preeti for the alliance. He wanted Preeti to ready Tanvi and look after her every need. Preeti nodded. Tanvi looked tensed. Preeti told her not to be worried. Pundit would keep her really happy. Tanvi nodded but was still worried. Preeti noticed it too. Pundit gave gifts to Rakesh, Naina and Sameer. He teased Rakesh saying that he brought a Safari Suit for him but it turned out to be a T-shirt. He laughed. Rakesh told him to grow up.
The pundit said they would come later on to discuss dowry. Rakesh said it wouldn’t work till the time he was here. Pundit replied that he refused to demand anything. He told him they were welcome to stay in Ahmedabad. Rakesh asked them how the wedding can happen without parents. Sameer reminded him that Pundit and Munna had arranged their wedding.
