The Marathi actor and comedian Prashant Damle is the owner of many accolades in Marathi dramas, movies, shows, etc. He has been in the industry for more than 35 years. The actor started his journey in drama in 1983. And slowly, he kept moving forward with greater intensity in his journey. He has featured in more than 27 different plays with a plethora of different roles. The actor is widely recognized as the biggest superstar in the Marathi theater.
Damle got his break after doing a few stage dramas in his school years; he got a chance to act in the Marathi film Tur Tur. His remarkable shows include Moruchi Mavshi, Bahurupi, Tu Tithe Mee, Eka Lagnachi Goshta, and many others. He has been in many Hindi and Marathi films giving audiences an authentic experience. He has repeatedly shown that theater drama is equally prestigious as shows.
The journey of 35 years in drama and acting has earned him massive awards and a lot of fame. He has received awards for the 4 Limca Book of Records. Prashant performed in 37 Marathi movies and 24 Marathi serials. Recently, he marked the milestone of the 12,500th show with his performance in Eka Lagnachi Pudhchi Goshta. Amitabh Bachchan also shared the historical record on his Instagram by Congratulating Damle.
In addition, Damle is doing a cooking show on Colors Marathi name Aaj Ka Special. While ‘Aamhi Saare Khavayye’ is another cooking show of Damle on Zee Marathi.
