Quasar Thakore Padamsee is an Indian stage actor turned theatre director. His direction is known to the nation. The finesse with which he has taken forward the legacy is astonishing.

He studied English Literature at St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. Though he started his career following his father, as an adman, he soon switched to full-time theatre by starting his Mumbai based theatre company called QTP.

He played cricket for Singapore U-19 team that won the inaugural Tuanku Jaafar Cup. He was an effective left arm medium pacer.

Since 1999, he has directed and produced over 20 plays under his theatre company, QTP. He also works as a stage manager and lighting designer for theatre productions. He was also the Assistant Director of Tim Supple’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

His direction and vision is beyond what the layman can think of. He has directed many plays which were appreciated and praised highly.

Quasar’s work is of utmost grace and he portrays ground realities. His work speaks volumes for his talent and how he looks at the world.
