Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most successful film stars in the world. He has done over 80 films, won numerous awards and has a lot of attributes to his name. The superstar didn’t get all of this in a single day or very easily. He faced his struggles and had a humble beginning before making it big in Bollywood. Before he made his Bollywood debut in the year 1992 with the film Deewana, Shah Rukh Khan starred in some television series.

We regard SRK as one of the best actors but he learnt his acting lessons during his theatre days. As Shah Rukh Khan says, “In theatre, just like in life, there are no retakes.” The fact that in theatre an actor stands bare, performing live in front of an audience, makes it the toughest form of acting as it comes without retakes and almost no frills of enhancing your stardom. His calling to become an actor built up when he saw eminent theatre artists like Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Rohini Hattangadi, Raj Babbar etc. He learnt in theatre that things can go wrong sometimes and it is perfectly alright. The most important thing he imbibed as a theatre artist was to work as a team. From a theatre artist, he switched to Bollywood in 1991 and the rest is history. Right from his debut film until now, he has been one of the finest actors to enter Bollywood. Despite being a super-star, SRK is still humble and is continuing his hustle to be better every single day.
