Sad news coming in from the world of theatre.

Ebrahim Alkazi who was considered to be the father of modern Indian theatre and the first director of National School Of Drama breathed his last at New Delhi today.

He was 94 when he breathed his last.

His death is currently being mourned by the who’s who of the acting fraternity as he has been one personality who has been behind training greats like Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri. Prime Minister Narendra Modi too mourned the death of the theatre legend.
