Television actor Ajay Arya is set to take the stage in the grand theatrical production “Mere Krishna,” which will premiere on 28th February at the NCPA JBT in Mumbai. Renowned for his strong and impactful performances across various television shows produced by reputable production houses, Arya aims to captivate audiences with an emotionally intense portrayal in this upcoming production.

The production is helmed by the talented Rajiv Singh Dinkaar, whose imaginative direction and engaging narrative style are poised to create an extraordinary theatrical journey.

Ajay Arya takes on the challenging and intricate role of Jara, the hunter whose arrow leads to Lord Krishna’s exit from the earthly realm. Jara is not just a typical hunter; he embodies a character rich in symbolism and emotional complexity, carrying profound spiritual and dramatic significance.

Ajay talks to IWMBuzz.com on this big opportunity, saying, “This is my debut in theatre. Television and theatre are two different journeys. I have had great moments on TV. In theatre, there are no retakes, and there is no room for errors. TV gave me name, fame and recognition. TV will always remain close to my heart. Theatre is all about focus, practice and live performance. I learn with every experience, and that is the biggest excitement in theatre.”

“I feel lucky that I am a part of both the mediums of work. Taking on the role of Jara is both a privilege and a significant responsibility. This character is powerful, infused with intensity, fate, and a sense of divine purpose. I’ve poured my heart and soul into preparing both emotionally and spiritually to ensure I bring genuine authenticity and depth to the role,” he ends.

Best of luck!!
