Manoj Bajpayee: The Indie Legend

Manoj Bajpayee was born in the year 1969 on the 23rd of April. He was born in the Champaran district of Bihar. The actor is recognized as one of the most eminent names in the acting industry. The actor is recognized for his strong acting skills and dialogue delivery that manages to touch one’s heart. The actor now predominantly works in Hindi movies too. Not only that but also Telegu and Tamil movies. Hence it comes as no surprise that he is loved by his huge fan base that comes from different parts of the country.

At the young age of 17, Manoj tried to get himself enrolled in the National School of Drama after moving to Delhi and being inspired deeply by Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri. But much to his dismay, he got rejected three times. He still continued to stay dedicated to the theatre world while studying at Ramjas college. Yet to nurture his talent of acting, he attended a workshop by Barry John and did so well that Barry John asked him to assist him in teaching. After this, he applied to the National School of Drama again and got accepted. He then got roles in the movie world and is appreciated very often by many. Today, he is the recipient of prestigious awards like 4 Filmfare Awards, 2 National Film Awards and the Padma Sri.
