One of the eminent names of stars who have come from the theatre world to Bollywood is Rajkummar Rao. The actor has made some marvelous contributions to the Bollywood film industry. But while many of us know him as a Bollywood actor, a lesser-known fact is that he first started his career in acting through the theatre world. He is a very famous name in the theatre world as well. Today, he is known as one of the most spectacular actors in Bollywood and the credit goes to his years of learning and experience in theatre.
The actor started his journey in the theatre world when he was graduating at the Delhi University with the Kshitij Repertory and Shri Ram Centre, both of there were theatre groups located in Delhi. The actor later went to learn more after discovering his interest in the field at the Film and Television Institute of India from Pune. After this, he moved to Mumbai and chased his bigger dream in the Bollywood world. Today he is the proud recipient of 3 Filmfare awards, a National Film award and an Asia Pacific Screen Award.
