&TV’s popular daily drama Waaris has been getting rave reviews for its differentiated content. Produced by Viniyards, the series is going off-air on December 1.

TV actress Arti Singh, who has been winning accolades for her performance as Amba in Waaris is upset over the show’s closure.

“The off-air news came as a shock to us. We were prepared that it will be on till January. I was positive that it won’t go off air. However, it was a heart break moment. I was in shock for four days. Now, I am coping up and have realized that there are new opportunities for me,” shares the actress.

She further adds, “It was a beautiful journey. Waaris was my comeback as a lead. People don’t choose such a character on TV but I am thankful to the production house Viniyards. Travelling to Vasai every day for the shoot was a torture and problematic. However, after coming on the set, I used to forget all the pain. After working day and night for one and half years, I want a small break of at least a month or more; I will be open to work post this period.”

Talking about her team, she quips, “I worked with the most amazing team. It was the best production house and best co-actors. I have learnt a lot from everyone. Young Manu aka Saniya Touqeer was so hard working. She thought me to work hard and push myself. She always had a sparkling smile whatever be the reason.”

Arti feels lucky as she has been blessed with a wonder co-star Akshay Dogra who is more like a friend now. “I have always been lucky as every show gave me one friend who will remain a part of life. Akshay Dogra is my best friend from this show.”

We wish the pretty actress all the luck for her future endeavours.
