Exclusive: Abhishek Kapur, Tina Philip, Ariah Agarwal collaborate for a vertical microdrama series

We now have more details on the project and also got to talk to Abhishek about this new role and his experience being part of it.

We hear that the series is titled Addicted Aashique and will be streamed on Story TV. Abhishek will be seen portraying the role of Avinash, a man deeply obsessed with a girl and trapped in a one-sided love story.

When contacted, Abhishek confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am doing the microdrama series. I play an obsessive lover who reconnects with his childhood crush after many years. His behaviour towards her is rude, largely due to the coldness he receives from her.”

He further added, “In my last show, Kundali Bhagya, I played a sweet, lovable character. But in Addicted Aashique, I have got the opportunity to explore a character with multiple layers. The story is quite gripping, which is why I agreed to be a part of it. Also, the entire cast and crew are incredibly friendly. I have worked with director Deepak Chauhan before, and Shakeb Sayyed feels like family to me.”

With a fresh format and an intense storyline, Addicted Aashique promises to take viewers on a thrilling emotional ride. The series is expected to be released soon on Story TV.
