Nidhi Singh hails from a well-educated family as her father Birendra Singh is a doctor and her mother Rashmi Singh is a teacher. Growing up with two elder brothers Rishabh Singh and Shashwat Singh, she attended St. Mary’s Convent Inter College Allahabad. Being a well-educated family background, it shocked everyone when she disclosed the idea of acting. However, her parents insisted to complete education as he did masters in advertising from Mumbai. Afterward, they supported her to pursue her career in acting and gave a lot of confidence, which helped her to become a successful actress.
Nidhi Singh began her career working as an assistant director in an advertising agency. She then tried her luck in acting in 2013, where she featured in a short film, ‘The Drama of the Dagger’. Her hard work and dedication helped her to grab of web series, ‘Every Delhi Girl in the World’, which was created by popular YouTube channel ‘Being Indian’.
Moreover, she gained a lot of popularity and fame from the web series ‘Permanent Roommates’ where she appeared with actor Sumeet Vyas. Her role Tanya Nagpal received a lot of appreciation. She even did the ‘Permanent Roommates’ Season 2. She then appeared in bit roles in web series like Man’s World 2015 and Humorously Yours 2016. In 2017, she made her debut on the big screen with director Nikhil Bhat‘s comedy film Brij Mohan Ammar Rakhe. Her latest film includes the romantic comedy Dil Juunglee. In this film, she has worked with the stars such as Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem in the lead roles.
Nidhi Singh has also received the best Jodi award and in near future, she will surely grab the more awards.
