Actors Cricket Bash (ACB), created for actors, onscreen performers, digital creators, etc, has given six fabulous seasons of excellence, consistency and growth. Delhi Titans took home the trophy in the recently concluded Actor Cricket Bash series in its sixth edition. The league is owned by Mr Dilip Agarwal. With this win, Delhi Titans won the tournament for the third consecutive time. The team is owned by popular actor Manav Gohil, with Abhishek Kapoor being the Captain of the side.
Abhishek Kapoor, who was recently seen in Hungama OTT’s Vinny Ki Kitaab, is ecstatic with his team’s win. We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Abhishek on the win, and he shared his thoughts on the same.
Talking about the auction, which laid the perfect foundation to do well, Abhishek said, “It’s been a great tournament. All the planning started with the auction, since this was the first time auctions had happened. It was very important to pick the correct players.”
Talking about the tough challenges, he shared, “The practice sessions and practice matches were intense leading up to the tournament because every team was well-balanced and strong. The competition was very high. Another challenge was the heat. Playing 7 back-to-back matches was tough, but everyone was so good. Cricket is the common passion we carry, and we gave our best.”
The proud captain said, “As the captain, I am very proud and happy to have such a team where it wasn’t dependent on any one particular player. We won the tournament with our complete teamwork. We are happy to be the champions now. It’s now time to get back to being an actor.”
On his special moments from the tournament, Abhishek averred, “The special match was the qualifier against Chandigarh, where we won from almost a no-win situation. And of course finals are special.”
The players in the Delhi Titans team were Abhishek Kapoor, Savant Singh Premi, Shubham Matta, Azgar Khan, Pravesh Lal Yadav, Kailash Bhat, Saksham Raj, Abhishek Pandey, Akshaee Sidiqqui Faizal, Karan Raheja, Kunal Raheja, Lovekesh Dutta, Krishhna Soni, and Saahil Kumar.
