The good looking Apurva Agnihotri is looking forward to the third season of ALTBalaji show Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai which will start streaming on D- Day (June 6) “Compared to previous seasons, the third installment will be darker. Having said that my character Harry has not changed. Harry remains the guy who likes Ananya (Mona Singh) but keeps his distance knowing that she will never leave for Rohit for me. I am quite happy with the response my character is getting on social media. Fans want more scenes between Mona and me (Jassi Jassi Koi Nahin). I am fully aware that the show revolves around Ronit (Roy)and Mona, and I have a part in it. I enjoyed shooting with both. Mona and I still crack up about our Jassi days.”

Talking about infidelity which is the underlying theme of the show, he says, “While one can never condone cheating. life was never that easy, and you do fall in and out of love. Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai shows that very struggle without making it cheap. I am lucky to be part of a show sans nudity and lovemaking.”

Asked as to why the show flopped when first two seasons recently aired on ZEE TV, he says, “I guess the novelty factor had worn off with the show being on the app for a long time. Also, let’s face it, web content audience is different from broadcast viewers.” His last TV show was a cameo in Bepannah (Colors).

Looking ahead Apurva is game for more web series, “This format allows you to think out of the box. Channel censor codes no longer hamstring us. Last but not the least web also has a shorter commitment compared to the long-running tube..”

When asked about the possible resumption of shoot post lockdown, Apurva says, “I am not sure given that it will be a real challenge to work with new social distancing norms. Let’s all pray that the COVID 19 outbreak finally abates and we all get back to work.”
