Shubhangi Latkar is pleasantly elated with her recent double-release on the OTT medium with the Yami Gautam Dhar starrer A Thursday on Disney+ Hotstar and with Madhuri Dixit Nene starrer The Fame Game on Netflix.

Shubhangi feels that this huge shoot experience of hers with Madhuri Dixit Nene was a lifetime opportunity for her.

Says Shubhangi, “Madhuri Dixit was the first person to call me tai (elder sister) and soon everyone started calling me tai and I felt so good. My character in the series is the house help who has raised Madhuri’s character. I also got sweet treatment from Sanjay Kapoor when he said that no one would call me aaya as I have been extremely close to Madhuri’s character. He was the one to give me the name of Lata in the series. In just three days of shooting my new name became that. It was nice bonding with the entire cast of the series.”

Shubhangi talks about her initial nervousness when she was to shoot with Madhuri for the first time. “I have worked with many big stars, but never had I experienced such a tense state. My first scene with Madhuri was when I was helping her dress. I was sitting outside on my first day and  I was watching her from outside. When I went inside I just got so nervous and started thinking about all the big stars she has worked with. However, the ice was broken very soon, and Madhuri eased the ambience and made it so very lively.”

Shubhangi who has a prominent character in The Fame Game also tells us that she is hopeful of having a stronger presence in the Season 2 of The Fame Game.
