Vidur Anand is an actor capable of creating magic with his powerful acting skills!! However, in recent times, the musical instincts in Vidur have been talked about and well-appreciated.

From the time Vidur wrote and composed the number ‘Parvardigaara’ for Hadh, the web-series of Vikram Bhatt, his musical acumen has come to the fore.

Says Vidur, “My friend and Director, Sidhant Sachdev is the one who actually tapped the musical skills in me. I have always been a musician, and play guitar quite well. But it was Sidhant who motivated me to compose and write for him. After Parvaridgaara happened, he appreciated my effort so much that he gifted me with a guitar. I must say, that has to be my prized possession (smiles).”

After ‘Parvardigaara’, Vidur has gone on to compose and write for the numbers ‘Humsafar Mera’ for Spotlight 2 (which was sung beautifully by Aditya Narayan) and his numbers, composed and written along with Ankit Shah for Tantra, ‘Aasra Tu Hi’ and ‘Ae Madadgaar’.

“Music has been in me from childhood. But thanks to Sidhant, he brought it out of me. Sidhant is a brilliant musician himself. He has been appreciated by musical greats like Arijit Singh. I have learned a lot about music from Sidhant. We together indulge in jamming sessions whenever we have time. It is real fun,” states Vidur.

Vidur who has himself won accolades for his powerful portrayals as an actor in web-series, Gehraiyaan, Hadh, Twisted, Tantra and Untouchables looks forward to an enriching journey ahead, both as an actor and as a composer.

Here’s wishing you luck, Vidur!!
