Vinit Kakar has carved a niche for himself by mastering the art of playing complex, menacing, and larger-than-life negative characters. From heavy-duty mythological and fantasy avatars to prominent television tracks and digital shorts across platforms like Kuku TV and Story TV, Vinit has consistently proven his acting mettle.

Continuing his streak of commanding villainous performances, Vinit is now set to headline an exciting new project on Story TV, produced under the banner of 25 Paisa Production. Moving away from traditional heavy prosthetic make-up and heavily stylised historical wardrobes, this upcoming series features a narrative deeply inspired by one of mythology’s most compelling figures: Duryodhan.

“Playing negative and antagonist characters has always been an exhilarating journey, but stepping into a modern-day adaptation inspired by Duryodhan is a dream come true for me,” says Vinit.

“I found this concept incredibly intriguing, especially after portraying various negative characters. It draws significant inspiration from Duryodhan. This role is a dream come true for any actor specialising in antagonistic characters. Portraying powerful figures like Duryodhan, Kansa, and Ravan is truly captivating. If this project turns out well, it could very well be my best work to date,” he ends.
