Vinit Kakar has recently entered the Sun Neo show Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani in the role of Macharasur, the newest intriguing addition in the show produced by Peninsula Pictures.
As we know, Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani took an 8-year leap recently. After the 8-year leap, Divya’s life changes dramatically as she faces many challenges that test her courage and strength. Rakshasi, a powerful and unpredictable force, brings dark energy to threaten her family. Divya uses her new powers to protect her loved ones and fight against this darkness.
The role does not come easily for Vinit Kakar. He is required to paint his whole body and wear prosthetics to look his part. It takes prolonged hours to get into the role of Macharasur, and maintaining the look for a long shoot period is an ordeal in itself.
Talking about it, Vinit told us at IWMBuzz.com, “It is a very time-consuming process to get into the look of Macharasur. First of all, I need to hold on to the prosthetic for the shoot, and once the shoot is over, I have to go through the process of removing it. We generally pack up after 13 hours of shooting, and it is an ordeal to sit through to remove it. I used to take a bath three times to remove this colour. Once I don the prosthetic, it is there on my body for 13 to 14 hours.”
Talking about his passion for performing, Vinit says, “This role is not easy at all. Not at all comfortable in the look, I will say. But all that matters is my labour of love for my acting.”
