Following the trailer released on Tuesday, the show premiered its first episode on June 26, 2026. Actor Kunal Khemmu comes in as the host of Amazon Prime Video’s reality show Alliance. The show is produced by Banijay Asia and, in the very first episode, introduced the pair of contestants who will compete to survive.

Kunal Khemmu, as the host, was charming, bringing his balanced personality to the show to handle the toughest and trickiest moments. One of the best parts of this reality show is Kunal as the host, as we get to see a different side of him from what he has portrayed on-screen all these years. Also, he is different from all the hosts we have seen to date, hinting that there are different sides of Kunal we will see in the show.

The host Kunal introduced 16 contestants in eight pairs, where the iconic Ravi Kishan entered with his daughter Rivva Kishan, followed by Kushal Tandon and Arsalan Goni, Zaid Darbar and Daisy Shah, Mini Mathur and Nikhil Chinappa, Ruhee Dosani and Niti Taylor, Vanshaj Singh and Dolly Javed, Payal Dhare aka Payal Gaming and Sabby Suri, and Delbar Arya and Armaan Khera.

Alliance, from its very first episode, takes drama to another level, showing that if you trust someone too much, they will go against you, and if you do not trust anyone, that too won’t save you, and this thing makes it challenging for the contestants to survive with a fresh survival game.

There were key moments from Payal Gaming crying to Rivva and Vanshaj’s argument. However, the one fight that caught attention was between Kushal and Vanshaj. Both of them are full of rage and tough personalities, and this hints at drama ahead. In addition, the whole vibe of the show, from set design, outfits, to the entry, everything added to the thrill, and now fans can get ready for everyday drama.

Well, Alliance is not wholly like Bigg Boss, but since it’s a survival show, it is somewhat similar. It is the adaptation of the acclaimed Dutch reality format created by John de Mol.

Overall, Alliance hosted by Kunal Khemmu looks promising, but whether the show lives up to the expectations or not, only time will tell.
