Dahaad is Pocket TV’s latest micro-drama offering, a predictable tale of a mother who loses her son when he was just one, but as the story progresses, it reveals unexpected twists in a fantasy world with a high dose of drama.

It is a period micro-drama, and the story opens with Ritika, who lost her son when he was just 1 year old, and he was the only reason for her survival after her husband died. Years later, her son grows up to be young Aarav and meets Kritika, but she is unaware of his identity.

As the story looks predictable, the drama unfolds when Raghav enters Kritika’s life, wishing to marry her by hook or by crook. Amidst Kritika’s desire to find her son, what peaks the drama is the magical powers each character possesses, which make the story more interesting. Despite the predictable tale of a mother and son, the micro-drama shines with its hidden twists and fiery sequences.

You can say the biggest strength of Dahaad lies in its atmosphere – with fantasy elements presented with visual flair, symbolic energies, lighting, and the strong, emotionally charged dialogue, which makes it a treat for fantasy lovers.

The micro-drama stars TV actress Madirakshi Mundle as Ritika (known for her show Siya Ke Ram), actor Vishal Kotian (known for Bigg Boss 15 stint), Jaya Bhattacharya, and others. All the actors did justice to their roles, adding depth to every scene.

Dahaad, with its strong fantasy drama, proves that a predictable narrative does not always come out dull; the tight episodes are packed with hook moments, fantasy appeal, and drama, helping it shine and keep you watching till the end.
